Kate studied art and maths at Aberystwyth University in Wales and went on to do illustration at the London College of Printing. She specialises in children's illustrations and her favourite character which she has created is a gecko named Germilitrudus, which has appeared in a book of short stories and posters for schools. Kate lives in the outskirts of London but loves to escape to the park or mountains, where she enjoys long walks or cycling surrounded by nature.
