Liz Knutt studied at Edinburgh College of Art and St Martin's School of Art in London - a training biased towards dress and fashion design. She has painted a wide variety of subjects, including flowers, landscapes, theatre, animals and nudes in groups as well as singly - painted with dash, humanity and humour. Liz works in oils on Canson paper, usually bonded to board. She has exhibited widely throughout the U.K.
